Web Management
I am intuitive with technology. I started learning Web development on my own, and then took classes in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Flash and Drupal. I am not a CMS developer, but I have learned how to configure Wordpress extensively, as well as how to work within different CMS frameworks.
At CHI, I managed the redesign of the website into Sitecore CMS. My Web development background made me a good translator between the development contractor, the focus groups, and my co-workers. The redesign project won an award from the Colorado Healthcare Communicators.
As a freelancer, a lot of my work these days is creating pages from someone else's design, basically cutting up a picture into useable, cross-browser friendly CSS. I learn something new every time I do it.
